Happy Friday!! Links to Love...

Hi all and welcome to the weekend! What do you have planned? We've been having rain during the weeks and sunny weekends...guess I can't complain about that. So I'm looking forward to spending more time outside with my little man. And on my list this weekend is to finally take some pictures of my vegetable garden! I told you I'd show you pictures and I haven't yet....bad blogger. The plants are still tiny but won't it be fun to watch it grow?

It's here!! The Stella & Dot little girls line arrived today and is now available in my shop. It's just ooozing with little girl cuteness. Don't you just love the above photo? Jewels and a candy buffet. Very Amy Atlas. Here are some of my favorite pieces...

Hi all! Did you have a good weekend? It was another gorgeous weekend of 70+ degree weather around here. Spent pretty much entire Sunday in our backyard. I even got the chance to completely relax and read some magazines. Have you read the latest InStyle? There was an article about organizing your fridge. I adore an organized fridge. Yes, adore. And I thought they had some great product tips...here are my favorites...

A trip to the zoo

Hi all! How was your weekend? It was GORGEOUS weather in my neck of the woods and we took advantage of it completely. On Saturday morning we took Owen to the zoo for the first time. We were so excited to see his reaction to the animals! To be honest? Didn't phase him too much. His favorite though was definitely the giraffes. I have a large stuffed giraffe in his bedroom that he loves (he's even included in the bedtime routine)...so I'm sure that's why he loved the giraffes at the zoo the most! Here are some of my favorite snapshots from the day....

Going on a 'nature walk' with Daddy

Riding the carousel...this was a HUGE hit. As soon as we saw it we knew we'd be taking a ride. Daddy (just to the right of him in the picture, don't worry the ride hadn't started yet) and Owen went on the ride and I waved every time they went around. It was so much fun.

And there was a train too! Lots of fun.

Me and my little man walking....we brought the stroller but it mainly was used to lug all of our stuff!

We ended the day with lunch...and a great view of the giraffes! Kind of hard to tell in the picture but they were fairly close and easy for Owen to see. That kept him entertained while we ate our packed lunches of good ol' fashioned PB&J....grapes, cheese and crackers :)

It was one of those fun family days I know I'll remember forever! And then on Sunday after an outing to get bagels and play at the park, we planted out vegetable garden. Promise to show you pictures later...I have high hopes for this year!

Happy Friday all! Here it is again! Plans this weekend? We're heading to the zoo on Saturday, yay! Can't wait for our little man to see all of the animals. Especially the giraffes...he has a large giraffe in his room and so he points them out in books and pictures constantly. Wonder what he'll think to see them in person! I'll let you know :)

Friday again! The weeks do just fly by, don't they? What are your plans for this weekend? We are having a low key weekend...will likely take the little man to a gym class in the morning and then out to breakfast. On Sunday I'm headed to a Stella & Dot training and then meeting a friend for lunch. Mommy's day out!

How cute are these? Browsing Ohdeedoh today and found these adorable toy baskets. Check out their website for some amazing things for your kiddos...BUT be forewarned, you cannot order online! And I checked for some online shops and couldn't find them online either. Argh. So now I have these cute baskets in my head and can't find them...anyone out there have some tips?

They remind me of the house pillows I wrote about back in October from Etsy shop Olive. Adorable too and these can be found in her shop. Yay!
