Hi all and Happy Friday! My apologies for the sparse (and delayed) postings this week! I didn't have my regular babysitter come this past Wednesday and it really threw me for a loop! So Janae, if you are reading this...you were missed :)
But I didn't want to miss out on my new tradition of Friday Links to Love...I'm on #3 in a row, could be a new record for me! So without further ado...Fridays Links to Love:
Here's my latest frugal find. A $35 sunburst mirror from the Martha Stewart line at Home Depot.
Well, it's here and it's FANTASTIC. I'm speaking of my Draper bar cart from Society Social of course. If you follow PS on Facebook then you know I've recently teamed up with the darling founder, Roxy Owens, of Society Social. Lucite trays for her, a Draper for me...it's a match made in heaven.
So what next? Well, I must style it of course! Time to look for inspiration...here's what I found on my go-to site, Pinterest.
love the pops of blue and pink...
more pink...also love the addition of a few books at the bottom
charming, colorful and fun...
the potted plant plant wins it in this photo, living color.
And here's a shot of my very own Draper...
Even without the accessories, it still looks beautiful. Don't you think?
Friday again! Here's a round-up of some fun things I found this week...
Love Tom's as a company...never could quite get them on my feet before though. They seem to look good on other people but on me? Odd. Enter Tom's new line of flats. Adorable. And these in chambray denim? Oh yes, these will work splendidly thank you very much.
Another time sucker that rivals Pinterest...here's a place where you can 'stalk' all of your favorite bloggers and their current obsessions. Think fun finds for your home and closet. So looking to kill a few hours? Check it out here.
I've had this picture pinned on Pinterest for a while now....Ikea expedit bookcases, stacked and layered with a mirror...looks pretty amazing I think! And friendly on the budget. I'm seriously considering battling Ikea this weekend to make it happen in my own living room.
And I need to save money because I also would love to have this daybed from Oly Studio in my living room. Not so budget friendly, but GORGEOUS.
Looking for some last minute ideas for Valentine's Day? Me too! Browsing Pinterest this morning I found these cute ideas...best part, all of them can be done with things you probably already have at home. Dress them up a bit using our printable Valentine's Day package...available in our shop until tomorrow, only $5!
For the kiddos...
The favor tags, decorative hearts and 2" party circles in our Valentine's printable collection are all great options for personalizing your treat. Just pull out your sharpie and add the fun catch phrase!
And now for your sweetheart...
And for your home...
The decorative hearts string together to make a fantastic garland. And the 2" party circles could dress up any glass of champagne!
If you've been a reader of this blog for a while...then you know that I used to do a post called 'Friday Links to Love'. Well I thought I'd bring it back! There are SO many fun things to find on the web, and this is a great way to gather a few of my favorites every week. So here we go...
Found another use for the Silhouette machine in this laundry room update post on iHeartOrganizing. Still on the fence about getting one, but I'm definitely starting to lean towards yes!
YUM. This looks fun and festive for Valentine's Day! Found thanks to my addiction to Pinterest.
Ordered this darling print. Wish I had seen it earlier! Perfect V-Day gift for the hubby (well, for me really). I think it will look perfect tucked into a bookcase shelf, a little unexpected love.
Beautiful calligraphy, LOVE it, really wish I had that talent. I don't. Learn to fake it here.
And a big thanks so Pocket Change for including our blog on their Best of the Web series.
Yiippee! These have been a long time coming...but the wait is finally over. iPad cases are here!
In true Pretty Smitten fashion, you get to pick your pattern, colors and monogram style. Why not get one to match your Pretty Smitten iPhone case?
We've also made one in our popular signature silhouette design, you pick the color.
And our rainbow chevron design...
Now for the details....the cases are made from 88% Post-Consumer Recycled Materials and feel similar to a hardback book. The inside iPad holder is made from leather. We like them because they protect the screen and flip open to read like a book. And lets face it, we like them just because they are colorful and fun!
Here's a shot from the inside...
Find them in our shop. And for a limited time we're offering FREE SHIPPING on all iPad case orders! Just enter IPADFREESHIP at checkout.
