Last Day to Enter our Giveaway!
Last chance to enter our giveaway! Leave a comment below this posting tonight! Winners will be announced tomorrow. Good luck!
Celebrity Home: Jennifer Aniston
I'm a day late in the blog world with this posting...but I still wanted to share. Two nights ago I'm on the couch just after Owen has gone to bed. Wine in hand and Access Hollywood on the TV (or Extra?? they are all the same to me). So yes, quality television is happening. But Jennifer Aniston is being interviewed and talking about her home featured in Architectural Digest. I'm intrigued obviously! I love her and I to love to look into people's homes, see how they live. And a celebrity? Well, I'm guessing they live pretty well. So last night dug up some photos online of her house. To be honest?? The only thing I really love about this house is the view. I find it a little dark and depressing. Was she dating John Mayer during the renovations or something? Anyway, she refers to it as a 'warm hug'....so I'll just be happy for her that she has created a home she loves. Who am I to say, right?

Pretty Smitten with John W. Golden prints
Can we all agree that Etsy is pretty much the coolest place out there to shop? I recently came across these prints and had to share. John W. Golden's 'By Order of the Management' series is colorful and fun while displaying some sayings that parents tend to say over and over. They come in a variety of sizes and as large as 16x21". Some of my favorites...
For the playroom - I see this one as big as I can get it!
And for the bathroom - maybe a series of these?
For an informal eating area
Cute right? All of these prints can be found in his shop. Happy shopping! And don't forget to enter our giveaway, winner will be announced Friday morning!
HAPPY TUESDAY!

Or leave your email in the comment and I will contact you if you've won. Good luck everyone and HAPPY MONDAY!
A few new fun things
Over the weekend I had a chance to add a few new items to my shop. I'm always so excited to get new things added! I must admit, I feel a sense of pride seeing them in their new Etsy listing...like a Mommy watching her baby head off to the first day of school. Then the anticipation and pure curiosity begins. Will people like them? Will I get any orders for them in that first week? First month? I sure hope so, but you never know! But I know that I like them (actually love them), especially since they all feature our graphic patterns I'm now obsessed with! So without further ado...
Monogram calling cards! I've had such a great response to my Mommy Calling Cards that feature motifs from our PS Kids line that I thought it would be great to make a calling card geared towards a wider audience. These are great for anyone wanting a fun and chic alternative for handing out contact info. Pick your pattern, colors and font and a little sparkle is added with our signature Swarovski crystal. Cards are packaged in our white tin.

Next Pretty Smitten baby to head off to school? Folded note cards! Our first folded note cards to hit the shop. I LOVE THESE. I have already used them as my personal stationary to send a stack of thank you notes after my birthday. They feature our graphic patterns and you get to pick the colors! Personalize them with your name and add 'hello' or 'thank you'. Or personalize them with your family name. Our signature sparkle adds the finishing tough. Return address labels are also included. Fun, bold and modern. Love.

And now introducing...Pretty Smitten BASICS! Our brand new line! These stationary items are perfect to keep handy. First two items in this line are our Happy Birthday and Thank You folded note cards. It's Aunt Suzie's birthday next week? The neighbor just watched your dog for the weekend? Pretty Smitten BASICS...done and done. They are fun and they stand out. Just the card to show you care. And even in our BASIC line, you still get to pick the pattern and colors! Tons of options with a little sparkle.

So, what do you think?? Would love to hear your thoughts! And don't forget to check back for our giveaway to celebrate 300 sales. It'll be posted on Monday!!Friday, February 5, 2010

Birthday Shopping...a success!
Friday was such a fun day! My mom and I went shopping pretty much ALL DAY! It was so fun to browse without interruption and try on anything and everything that I wanted! True luxury in my world. But out of my original inspiration list I only ended up with this!
Also from Anthropolie I did end up with this...I saw it online in my pre-shopping, but it didn't catch my eye really until I saw it in the store. Wore it today with some skinny jeans and tall boots.

From Nordstroms I bought a cute pair of grey Puma sneakers...kinda like these below...but with pops of yellow instead of blue. Great for running around with little man.

Also got these adorable little flats. Fun and flirty and only $50! Perfect.

Got a basic tee in white from Gap, great for layering. Also got a striped sweater from Banana Republic that's white and grey, but can't find it online to show you. As for J Crew? Usually one of my go-to stores, but didn't really see anything I was dying for. See some cute stuff online, but none of it really seemed to be in the store! Maybe they are still working on the transition to Spring...and I do wish I had found the yellow flats from American Eagle. Guess I'm currently obsessed with yellow and stripes? Sure seems that way! But alas, they were not in the store. Considering ordering them online...I did check out the Coach bag, cute but the color is a little brighter/more neon then I wanted. Somehow wasn't the exact melon color I wanted. So now still searching for a new summer bag...it has to be pretty big, fun and colorful. Suggestions?
But I would call the day a success! Got some cute new things, had a lot of fun and got to spend some QT with my Mom. Arrived home to have birthday dinner with my two favorite guys and a cuddle night on the couch. P E R F E C T.
Happy Monday Everyone!
