Half Moon Bay

Have you wondered where I've been? Sorry for the silence! We took a little getaway over the long weekend and I've been playing catch up ever since. My husband's good friend from college and his lovely wife and son met us at Ritz in Half Moon Bay. We got to catch up, let our boys play and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

The hotel is gorgeous. It sits right on a golf course overlooking the ocean. Our room overlooked the 18th green and ocean and even had it's own fire pit. My first thought? Not great for toddlers! But obviously we didn't turn it on when they were awake. Sure was nice though later that night...babies in bed and glass of wine in hand.

My favorite part of the trip? Watching the boys play on the beach. It was cold and windy, but that didn't stop them.

And a little time with my hubby was pretty good too.

And now, as promised, a little bit of real life...

Our little guy got sick on Sunday night and we were up with him pretty much the whole night. No fun for anyone. Luckily he's feeling better now, but that's another reason for the lack of posts.
